Now, I happen to think that homework builds character, but my kids would disagree. They need food to get through all 25 minutes they are forced to write numbers. Odd how math seems to be the only thing they bring home, aside from the odd book report. I have had to separate them at times, because they keep trying to give each other advice, and it isn't usually well received. David spends his time trying to tell the others what he did, and they are usually trying to get him to leave them alone long enough to get their work done. Josie offers her two cents by pulling up on the chair and sucking on whatever coat happens to be haning there (usually mine, with its interesting ties around the bottom).
Josie and her brother are really good friends now. I hope that lasts.
